Valley Dance Theater – Spring Rep 2023

Valley Dance Theatre celebrates the beauty of dance with repertory pieces both classic and contemporary. This spring, highlights from the beloved fairytale Sleeping Beauty will feature Princess Aurora, dazzling jewel fairies, Puss in Boots, and a pair of charming bluebirds set to Tchaikovsky’s music. Then, Saint-Saëns’ fully-staged ballet Carnival of the Animals offers a delightful menagerie showcasing more than 40 dancing creatures, from ninja turtles and playful fossils to lions, elephants, kangaroos, and a graceful swan. Live musical accompaniment is provided by the Valley Dance Theatre Pit Orchestra. This colorful celebration is sure to delight both the young and the young at heart. Be sure to join us at the Bankhead Theater for fairytale magic and a marvelous carnival of music and dance!
